With the ‘Old Vines Expressions’ and ‘The Everest’ Wines, Château Tanunda receives regular international recognition by renowned wine critics and at wine shows for producing some of the best wines in the world. The signature 150 Year Old Vines 1858 Field Blend, 100 Year Old Vines Shiraz as well as The Everest Old Vine Grenache and The Everest Shiraz are treasured by wine critics, wine lovers and wine collectors alike.

15:30  Proceed on to Seppeltsfield Wines for Public Wine Tasting

Other experience at the estate includes: Coffee break at Octeine Coffee (at own expense), Craft and Design Gallery at the Jam Factory, Skin and Body Care Shopping at Vasse Virgin Barossa.

Seppeltsfield’s winemaking philosophy is guided by four elements, which reflect both their history and future endeavours. Thier wines are handcrafted ultimately for enjoyment, but with an eye on ageability. Their unique 1888 Gravity Cellar plays a significant role in the style of many of their bottlings, and for thier still wines, they celebrate the re-imagining of traditional fortified varietals. These elements are grounded in a belief of place over person. Their winemaking team’s primary aspiration is to translate the character of their vineyard sites and each season – in their wines themselves.
